Examining Von Miller’s Strength And Speed

Von Miller impresses in all areas on the field. (Sports Illustrated)

Von Miller. He’s the undeclared pride and joy of the Broncos draft, and as a great college linebacker and athlete, it’s no wonder Sport Science wanted to use him to study speed and strength.

At the Combine in February, Miller did 21 reps of 225 lbs. on the bench press, he had a 37” inch vertical jump, and his time in the 40 was 4.46. His speed is on par with top wide receivers which is unheard of for a linebacker. Miller’s athleticism pretty much secured his position as a top 5 draft pick.

To catch Miller’s segment on Sport Science, go here. It’s quite entertaining.
