Proof of … heart
Weekly NFL.com Broncos Article
When Sunday evening hits, we will all shift focus towards the Broncos off season. Tebow touchdowns, Lloyd first downs, Bailey deflections, and Colquitt punts will be in hibernation, and the Broncos front office really comes to life now. In this week’s NFL.com article, I talk about the Broncos’ Four Horsemen. It’s them that will make or break the next few years. To read the article, click here.
Talking Tebow
On December 26, 2010, the Denver Broncos beat the Houston Texans 24-23 after coming back from a 17-0 deficit. But when the word comeback is used, fans’ minds immediately link the word to John Elway. It’s only natural that we automatically assume we’re speaking of the famous and legendary John Elway when we say comeback. Ever since his retirement, fans sit at work and fantasize about the good ole Elway days. They’ll sit outside at night and secretly wish upon a star that Elway will return, either in the flesh or reincarnated. But after this previous Broncos’ victory, it would appear that [...]
Love Tebow? Hate him? Join the club
No matter how you feel about Tim Tebow as the next starter under center for the Denver Broncos, this much is certain: This is one polarizing dude. Tebow’s strident Christian conservative views certainly contribute to the strong opinions of him, but not many can honestly argue the quality of his play–including his limited time in Denver–is subpar. As I’ve noted before, the guy has more heart than most, and that was enough to earn two national titles and a Heisman Trophy at the University of Florida.
Brandon Lloyd Relishes In Pro Bowl Announcement
Congratulations to Brandon Lloyd for making his first Pro Bowl roster! Lloyd is the only Bronco player making the trip halfway across the Pacific to Hawaii this year to take part in a “tip-of-the-hat” game that recognizes individual accomplishments. Lloyd has 72 receptions for 1,375 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season. He is ranked No. 1 in receiving yards and tied for 5th for touchdown receptions. All of this comes after eight seasons in the league. When I spoke to Lloyd last week he said that he didn’t change his off season routine. His success is due to finding the right fit. [...]

Chiefs fans still can’t believe they’re in the playoffs. The Raiders worst enemy? Themselves. Random: Obama is a Michael Vick fan. Hold On To Champ Bailey
Champ Bailey left Sunday’s game in the third quarter with a foot injury and did not return. Is that the last time that we’ll see the shutdown corner in a Broncos’ uniform? His status for the final game of the season is unknown at this point. “He’s sore. It’s a bruised heel,” Eric Studesville said of Bailey’s foot. ”His status going forward, we don’t have anything on right now”.
Is Tebow The Broncos’ QB Of The Future?
The jury is still out, but over the last two weeks, Tim Tebow has gone 24-for-45 for 446 yards, 2 passing TDs and 1 INT. He also has 18 carries for 105 yards and 2 rushing TDs. With that said, I need some public opinion. Cast your vote below. Make sure to follow Predominantly Orange on Facebook.
Heart, not talent, Tebow’s best asset
Say what you will about Tim Tebow and his future as an NFL quarterback, but whatever you say, don’t questions the dude’s heart. Down by 17 at home Sunday to Gary Kubiak’s Texans, Tebow simply willed his team to a one-point victory using sketchy passing (and benefitting from all-world receptions–Brandon Lloyd might be the best late-bloomer ever to put on a pair of cleats), his famed legs and what can only be described as desire.
