Chester McGlockton, a four-time Pro Bowl defense tackle in the NFL, died early Wednesday morning at the age of 42, reportedly from a heart attack.

Von Miller has made himself one of the ultimate pass rushers in the league as a rookie. He’s third in the NFL in sacks with 11 takedowns on the season. The guy one spot above Miller is none other than 8-year veteran Jared Allen, who the Broncos will face this week in Minnesota. Allen has 14 sacks on the season. The Denver Broncos special teams has played as much a role in the team’s recent success as the guys on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Britton Colquitt is averaging 47.6 yards per punt which is good enough for 7th in the league, and Matt Prater is hitting his field goals in crunch time. The “no contact with the front office, coaches, team trainers, and team doctors” rule was applied to all 32 teams in the league. Beads of sweat pored off his head, muscles ached, plays were studied, and what it got Kyle McCarthy was a spot on the roster, albeit the practice roster, but it was a spot reserved just for him. With 117 yards on the ground against the Chargers, Willis McGahee now has five 100-yard games this season. He is averaging 77.5 rushing yards per game which is good enough for 12th in the league. That’s the reason why Broncos running back coach Eric Studesville strongly urged the Broncos front office to pursue McGahee this off season. “They [McGahee and Studesville] had a past together in Buffalo so he came strongly recommended, and he’s come as advertised,” John Fox said. By Jim Lyles BRONCOS RUSH OFFENSE:  Running back Willis McGahee was certainly deserving of a game ball as he rushed for 117 yards on 23 carries. McGhee’s 24-yard jaunt late in the overtime session led directly to Matt Prater’s 37-yard game winning field goal. The Broncos rushing attack racked up 208 yards for the game on the ground. Tim Tebow chipped in 67 rushing yards on 22 carries.
