Richard Sherman

There are fans who will likely hate seeing this name on the list, for a variety of reasons.

Richard Sherman will turn 33 years old next March after missing a good portion of this season due to injury. He has a big mouth and many Broncos fans won’t forget how he and his Seattle Seahawks embarrassed the Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII.

But let’s be honest, Sherman has always been able to back up all of his tough talk. He has been one of the game’s truly great  shutdown corners of the last decade and there is a lot to like about his game, including the fact that he is seemingly always around the ball.

There is no doubt that Sherman has probably lost a step and is not as effective as he once was, but he can still bring something to a team, especially if that team had a star first-round stud in front of him.

Sherman could help that player along the way, and the rest of the corners on the roster for that matter, based on his experience and level of success in the game.

Sherman may only have a couple of seasons left in him, but he is also a guy who will be considered for the Hall of Fame when his playing career is over and even with his abilities a bit diminished, he’s still better than anyone the team currently has.
