William Jackson III

William Jackson will be the least recognized name on this list, but he’s also the youngest. The former first-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals recently turned 27 years old and will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

The Bengals would likely prefer to keep him in the fold, but another team might be able to bring him over with a bigger offer. The Bengals will also have to consider the fact that one of their other star defensive backs, Mackensie Alexander, will also be an  unrestricted free agent,

Jackson’s career with the Bengals has been up and down, but he is enjoying a strong 2020 season that has seen him be one of the top cover corners in the league. In addition, he’s a sure tackler and he possesses good ball skills.

He only has three career interceptions, but that number is that low in part because quarterbacks opt not to challenge him as often as the guy playing on the other side of the field.

Spotrac projects Jackson to command somewhere in the neighborhood of $6.3 million per year on a potential new deal. If the Broncos chose to move on from Bouye, Jackson would be a good option in terms of a replacement.
