Week 11:  Los Angeles Chargers- Tylor Walden

The Denver Broncos get their first shot against the Los Angeles Chargers in Denver. At this point, I am uncertain who will be starting by Week 11. Anthony Lynn has announced that Tyrod Taylor would be the starter. But at this point, if the Chargers are struggling, the team could decide to start Justin Herbert.

As far as the game is concerned, the Broncos are clearly the better team on paper than the Chargers. But I want to take a moment to send my condolences to Derwin James, who will miss the 2020 season due to knee surgery. In my opinion, he is the team’s best defensive player. With him out of the picture, this would give Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler a chance to make a statement on a divisional rival.

Before the injury, I would have thought it would be a defensive game. But now, I think Drew Lock might have one of his best games of the season, throwing for 350-plus yards in this game. Jeudy and Hamler will have one touchdown each as well as Courtland Sutton.

I do not predict this to be a blowout, but the Broncos will be in complete control from start to finish. I predict them to pitch a 17-0 shutout in the first half before the Chargers do get 10 points before the Broncos tack on an extra seven for the win.

Final Score:  Broncos 24  Chargers 10
