Week 12:  New Orleans Saints- Nicholas Manning

The New Orleans Saints are a tough matchup for anyone in the NFL. The team bolsters Emmanuel Sanders and Michael Thomas outside, and stud all around running back Alvin Kamara. Oh, did I mention the Future Hall of Famer Drew Brees.

The Saints have also begun to put a nice defense together, designed to attack offenses at all areas as it is built on pressure.

The Broncos would ideally have a nice home field advantage in a normal season with a bit of a colder environment with a full house packed into Empower Field at Mile High.

However, this is no normal year, and the Broncos must prepare to have minimal advantages other than the altitude.

So, how can the Broncos win against one of the league’s true elite teams?

The Broncos will rely on Drew Lock to carry this team. Drew will have opportunities to score as this defense was gashed for over 25 points in 10 games last season.

Lock will throw for 180 yards and 2 touchdowns at halftime as the Broncos hold a surprising lead, 21-20.

The game will tighten up during the 3rd quarter before the offenses trade scores early in the 4th quarter.

Drew Brees will counter with his usual heroic responses leading a late touchdown to Michael Thomas.

Drew Lock will drive the length of the field in the final moments, only to throw a late pick as a result of pressure from All-Pro Cameron Jordan from the right side.

The Broncos lose a shootout as the two Drew’s put on a show.

Final Score:  Broncos 31  Saints 34
