Third Round

Iowa. 71. player. 45. Scouting Report. Inside Linebacker. Pick Analysis. JoseyJewell

The Denver Broncos look to solve some issues at the inside linebacker spot with the selection of Josey Jewell. I had the Broncos draft him in my last mock draft in this round. So, I believe that the Broncos stick with going for him in this mock too.

The fact that he can help cover the pass and play the run so well, there was no way I was going to pass on him. He could be that dark horse on the Broncos defense that can really do something special on this defense that is in “win now” mode.

45. Georgia. NickChubb. 98. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Running Back

For some reason, the Denver Broncos got a compensatory pick in this mock late in the third round. I am not sure for what reason that was. But I decided to go running back with this pick. With the uncertainty of C.J. Anderson and Jamaal Charles likely on his way out, running back will be a need in this draft.

Nick Chubb has some play making abilities. He has the ability to get you those 3-5 yards on first down, or he can cut to the outside and break one. He kind of reminds me of C.J. Anderson a bit, just taller and a bit faster.

If the Denver Broncos somehow end up with the 98th overall pick, this would be that sneaky pickup that could boost up the offense. Plus, the Denver Broncos have a history of drafting Georgia running backs…
