Round Two, Pick Eight

Scouting Report. player. 45. Pick Analysis. Quarterback. Wyoming. JoshAllen. 40

Say what? Well, shortly after Denver drafted Connor Williams, the New York Jets drafted Sam Darnold. From there, it was a matter of time until Josh Allen was going to be drafted. But with each selection, he remained on the board. In fact, he was still on the board after day one was done.

We go into round two. Denver does not pick until eighth in this round. It is time for Denver to draft. And Josh Allen was still on the board! It was a no brainer who John Elway would have drafted in that spot.

I know some of Broncos Country would not like the fact that Josh Allen would be drafted. But I found it amazing that a quarterback that could be drafted in the first round fell a quarter of the way past the second round.

With the quarterback situation still in question, could Josh Allen lead this team to the promise land? It is tough to tell with the stats he had. But stats only tell part of the story. I would be intrigued to see what this man can do.

Plus, the Broncos got better on the offensive line to help out their new quarterback.
