2011 was an eventful one for the Denver Broncos. They brought John Elway back on board the ship, hired a new coach, drafted a star at the No. 2 spot, and sifted through the lockout all while not really knowing who their starting quarterback was going to be. For it being the last week of the regular season, the injury report is looking pretty good. Brian Dawkins is the only one that most likely won’t play on Sunday. Stopping the Chiefs offensively is all about stopping the Kyle Orton-to-Dwayne Bowe connection. The last time the Chiefs and the Broncos met in November, Champ Bailey held Bowe to 2 catches for 17 yards. The Denver Broncos drafted nine players in the 2011 draft and they are getting a lot of playing time. In fact, the Broncos rookies are averaging an NFL high 5.8 starts and 407.6 plays from scrimmage this year. The most notable rookie on the roster is without a doubt Von Miller. Miller was selected for his first Pro Bowl appearance with 12.0 sacks on the season. However, the rookie has had a major drop off in performance in the last two games.
