Denver Broncos Hall of Fame running back, Floyd Little, was honored at halftime of last Sunday’s game. He officially received his Hall of Fame ring along with a HOF decal next to his name on the Broncos Ring of Fame. His speech makes our clip of the week. Congratulations Floyd! The AFC West is looking like free beer night at the local bar – something everyone wants to take advantage of. Just like in week 1, the Chiefs were the only team from the division to win a game. Just as 2+2 =4, the sky is blue, and babies don’t really come from storks, Peyton Manning is going to be a factor in any game he plays in. That’s just a fact of life. Once again, the Denver Broncos played under a desert-like sun with temperatures at nearly 90-degrees. Unlike last week where the Broncos roasted some bird (Seahawks) in the hot weather, the team couldn’t put the Indianapolis Colts and Manning on ice. Sunday is not just another game day for the Denver Broncos. This week, they play for #11 Kenny McKinley. They play for his family, his friends, and his legacy. Then, the Broncos will play for themselves. As a very tough Indianapolis Colts (1-1) team lands on the tarmac at Denver International Airport, I hope they notice the somber skies surrounding Denver that always follows a Broncos player’s death. Bring out the brooms because the division cleaned house with all four teams picking up wins. The Broncos, Raiders, and Chargers picked up their first win of the season while the Chiefs are still undefeated. The Raiders and Chiefs won their games on defense while the Broncos and Chargers lit up the scoreboard with both teams scoring more than 30 points.
