Week 2 is now in the books for most of the NFL, and a majority of teams have won at least one game up until this point. The Denver Broncos needed a fourth quarter comeback against the Jacksonville Jaguars to earn their first win of the season, and that felt already felt pretty massive.
The Broncos snapped the Jaguars nine-game winning streak, which dated back to last regular season. Furthermore, the team also earned a head-to-head tiebreaker over Jacksonville if that needs to come into play later in the season for playoff seeding.
With Week 2 wrapped up for the AFC West, let's dive into our updated power rankings.

4. Los Angeles Chargers (0-2)
Maybe the Los Angeles Chargers are just... bad? The Chargers are now 0-2 on the season, and it's not like this team has lost to two great teams. The Houston Texans, for example, are 0-2, but they've lost to the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals, which are much better losses than LA losing to the Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders.
The Chargers just don't seem to have any fight, don't have a special roster, and also don't seem to be coached particularly well. All of that offseason hype, at least for the time being, was way off. Sure, this team does have enough talent to stack some wins in the coming weeks, but the schedule does get brutal.
3. Las Vegas Raiders (2-0)
With wins over Miami and Los Angeles, the Raiders are now 2-0. The Raiders have played some frisky football thus far, but I do believe it's reasonable to pump the brakes. This team is missing key talent on both sides of the ball, as the constant front office turnover has not established any sort of foundation.
There are bits of pieces of what could turn into a fun team in the future, but the Raiders still have a long ways to go, as there is no guarantee that Fernando Mendoza pans out, and, obviously, Kirk Cousins is only a temporary option
The Raiders have been a fun story thus far, but they're nothing special.
2. Denver Broncos (1-1)
The Broncos got back on track and are now 1-1 for the second season in a row. Denver needed two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, but it's clear that the final period of play is when this team really heats up, as the defense also stepped up big-time in the second half.
Denver keeps the No. 2 spot in our AFC West power rankings, but it's not outrageous to think that this team will soon emerge as the best. They're the most talented and typically heat up in October and November. Being able to get out of September with a 2-1 record would be ideal and give the team a chance to begin a nice winning streak and eventually overtake Kansas City for first place.
1. Kansas City Chiefs (2-0)
The Kansas City Chiefs are 2-0 and have started the season at home and in primetime slots both weeks. It's not been a perfect start for the Chiefs, as the Indianapolis Colts took them into overtime, but the hype will continue with this bunch until they begin losing games. Fortunately, this team doesn't overwhelm you with talent, but if Patrick Mahomes plays as we all know he can, this team is going to be a tough out.
If the Chiefs had lost to the Colts, I'd not hesitate to put the Broncos atop these rankings, but for now, the Chiefs deserve the top spot.
