RENO, NV – APRIL 4: A slot machine at the Silver Legacy Hotel & Casino, now owned and managed by Caesars Entertainment and packaged as part of “The Row” along with Circus Circus and the El Dorado Hotels & Casinos, is viewed on April 4, 2022, in Reno, Nevada. Reno, located in the northwest corner of Nevada at the junctions of Interstate 80 and Highway 395, continues to struggle from the effects of a housing boom and migration, a serious homeless population, Covid-19, and the impact of Indian gaming in California, which has placed a major burden on Reno’s entertainment, recreation, food service and accomodations business sectors, particularly in the downtown area. Five things we learned about the Denver Broncos this offseason

5. The Denver Broncos have great odds to win big this year

Russell Wilson has done wonders for the Denver Broncos already.  Various oddsmakers have the Broncos with the third-best odds to win the AFC this season, behind the Bills and Chiefs, and the 7th-best odds to win the Super Bowl.

The fanbase might not want to be so outward and say that the team would make this deep of a playoff run, but Vegas seems to think that they can.

Remember, the last two Super Bowl champion teams have been teams in their first year with a new quarterback.

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers did it in 2020, and Matthew Stafford and the Rams did it in 2021.

Who’s to say Russell Wilson and the Broncos can’t do it in 2022?

I get the argument that the AFC is loaded this year, but the NFC is filled with great teams also.

I’d also argue that Denver has as good of a roster that the 2020 Bucs did and a deeper roster than the 2021 Rams did.

It’s OK to think optimistically about the Denver Broncos in 2022, because Vegas would appear to be on your side.
