6. Chris Carson, Seahawks (age: 27 in September)

Although all eyes right now in Seattle are on Russell Wilson, running back Chris Carson could sign with any other team at this point in time.

Carson has 27 total touchdowns over the last three seasons and is a two-time 1,000-yard rusher, bringing some serious power and toughness out of the backfield.

He’s also caught 74 passes over the last two seasons combined.

Carson’s playing style is not exactly complementary to that of Melvin Gordon, but if the Broncos want to establish a running game, those two guys could definitely do it.

Carson has averaged 4.6 yards per carry through his first four NFL seasons and the Seahawks have obviously not been renowned for their offensive line play.

A powerful back like this in tandem with Gordon could give the Broncos a really physical presence and a couple of guys who are capable of carrying the load and staying on the field for all three downs.
