Scouting Report. 4. player. 45. Pick Analysis. Lock throws a 37 yard bomb to KJ Hamler . . Lock signals an audible to Hamler, connects on deep ball to make it a two possession game

This 37-yard touchdown from Drew Lock was a relief. Fans have seen Lock miss on the deep ball a ton throughout the season and finally watching him connect with Hamler was a sigh of relief.

The reason this play is unique is the audible Lock makes with Hamler at the line of scrimmage.

Drew realizes the defense is in a cover one man, meaning one of the fastest players on the team is in a one-on-one situation on the outside.

Lock holds the safety for a split second and throws a dime to Hamler down the right sideline for a much-needed touchdown in the game.

The Broncos would go on to beat the Carolina Panthers due to Drew Lock’s career-best game thus far.

. Drew Lock throws an incredible ball to Noah Fant for a TD to end the half. 3. player. 45. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Lock throws a beauty for a 6 yard touchdown

With just 11 seconds left until the half and the Broncos on the six-yard line with a 1st & Goal situation, Pat Shurmur calls a bench concept, having Noah Fant release to the left on a corner route to the back pylon.

Even though it was good coverage by the Bills linebacker, Lock places the ball perfectly for only where Fant can get the ball. The touchdown makes it a one-possession game, giving the Broncos hope going into halftime.

This was one of Lock’s best passes in the whole entire season. Of course, this pass did not get any media hype because they see that Drew was the one that threw it, but if this was a quarterback the media respected (Mahomes, Rodgers, or Brady), they would be going crazy.
