Denver Broncos Senior Bowl prospect: Najee Harris, RB, Alabama

Najee Harris will surely standout amongst his peers on the National Roster. Harris’s blend of size (6-foot-2 and 230 pounds) and speed should provide highlights all week long.

Harris is versatile and capable of being a true three-down back.

Though he is a tall, upright runner, Harris can lower his pad level when needed and finish off runs between the tackles.

This past season, he seemed more complete as a pass-catcher out of the backfield and showed improved route-running and pass-catching ability.

Though many may be scared off by Alabama running backs, Harris is an absolute stud that the Broncos should take a look at during the pre-draft process. He would not only help this season with the potential loss of Phillip Lindsay but should provide a long-term replacement for Melvin Gordon.

Harris’ ability to fit in a variety of schemes show that he would be great for Pat Shurmur this season and any future offensive coordinator that may take his place if this offense doesn’t play better moving forward.
