Will Parks returns to Denver, unavailable this week

With the Denver Broncos losing Bryce Callahan to injured reserve earlier this week, the team claimed an old friend from the waiver wire. Philadelphia recently released Will Parks from the team and Denver waisted no time going to claim him.

Parks did have offers from other teams, but it appears the move to come back to Denver made more sense due to his familiarity with Vic Fangio’s system. Of course, Parks will be ineligible to play against the Chiefs since he needs to pass all his tests regarding the COVID-19 protocols.

He should be making his return next Sunday when the Broncos travel to Charlotte to take on the Carolina Panthers. But it is awesome to see a familiar face return.

Waiting all day for Sunday Night

It has been some time since Denver Broncos fans have been able to sing along to Carrie Underwood’s Sunday Night theme song while their team was on. For the first time since 2017 against the New England Patriots, the Denver Broncos will have a game as the final Sunday game of the day.

According to the Broncos, the team is 26-20 all time on Sunday Night Football. There has not been a whole lot of success lately, but if the team could provide a strong showing for this game, it will provide more opportunities in the future to be featured as the last game of the day.
