When Bradley Chubb was hurt in 2019, the Broncos brought in Jeremiah Attaochu and he improved steadily over the course of the 2019 season.

To open the 2019 season, Attaochu put together a really nice performance against the Tennessee Titans and looked like he was going to be a major bargain on his one-year, $1.5 million contract as Von Miller’s injury replacement.

Although Attaochu was cheap insurance at a key position for the Broncos, he has not been able to keep that steady production we saw from him in 2019 and if teams are able to stifle Bradley Chubb with double teams, the pass rush has been non-existent for Denver.

Attaochu also has a long injury history, and he’s once again missed time for the Broncos in 2020.

Given the chance to upgrade in 2021, the Denver Broncos should take it.
