Drew Lock

The first half for Drew Lock was certainly one to forget. Except for the field goal that was set up by Simmons’ interception, the Broncos offense could not get anything going on offense. It was very ugly. But somewhere in the second half, a switch flipped inside of the young quarterback and he got it going.

In just the fourth quarter alone, Drew Lock had 14 completions on 18 attempts for 155 yards. Three touchdowns and zero interceptions for a 142.1 passer rating. Safe to say the switch really flipped in that fourth quarter.

Not sure if it has anything to do with the switch in play calling or Lock really started figuring it out. But this was such a confidence boost for the quarterback who really needed it after a horrendous game against Kansas City.

Let us hope that it continues in the upcoming weeks.
