Broncos Country, the long wait is finally over! Denver Broncos football is back, and it’s time to finally see Drew Lock in his sophomore season.
Although Broncos fans will be watching from home on Monday, it is still an exciting time for the orange and blue faithful.
The Denver Broncos look to finally make a playoff push for the first time since Super Bowl 50. Although the loss of Von Miller makes that goal much more difficult, it is still a feasible goal.
Meanwhile, Denver’s Week 1 opponent, the Tennessee Titans, look to finish what they started last year, after what was quite an impressive Cinderella Story that led them all the way to the AFC Championship Game. Ryan Tannehill looks to have successfully revived his career, and received a big payday from the Titans in the offseason.
The Broncos and the Titans faced off in Week 6 of the 2019 season, which actually featured the benching of Marcus Mariota in favor of Tannehill. The Broncos would shut out the Titans 16-0, but the Titans only got better, and never looked back.
It is a new season, and this matchup should be one deserving of its primetime slate.
Let’s preview the game.
