Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller is feared to be done for the season with a leg injury.

Well, so much for the Denver Broncos getting their dominant pass rush duo back, as Von Miller is feared to be out for the season after suffering a leg injury in practice on Tuesday, according to Brandon Krisztal of KOA Radio.

This obviously would be one of the biggest blows the Broncos could possibly face. In a year that has had zero preseason games and some uncertainty going forward, the Broncos may lose their top pass rusher.

The Broncos were looking forward to getting Bradley Chubb back alongside Miller but that may not happen this season. Chubb tore his ACL early during the 2019 season.

This would be the first time in Miller’s career in which he missed every single game. In 2013, he was suspended and missed seven total games. He then tore his ACL on December 23, 2013, missing the final week of that year.

Miller’s injury would force Jeremiah Attaochu into the starting lineup. Attaochu filled in for Chubb following his ACL injury. He recorded 21 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 12 games.

Miller turned 31-years old this year. Obviously, as players or even people in general get older, it will take longer for them to heal up.

Hopefully the second look at the injury will provide good news for Miller and the Broncos.

The Broncos drafted defensive lineman Derrek Tuszka in the final round of the 2020 draft and converted him to outside linebacker. Unfortunately, Tuszka still has to get better at his game, which requires him to get stronger and put on some more weight. If the Broncos can’t find a better replacement (basically because they will likely have to add to the position), Tuszka may need to get stronger and be more seasoned faster.

Next. The Denver Broncos will face Jadeveon Clowney in Week 1. dark

Miller finished the 2019 season with eight sacks, which was his lowest total in his career, aside when he missed time with the torn ACL.
