The Denver Broncos will be missing big pieces against the Titans.
For the first week of the 2020 NFL season, the Denver Broncos will have to face the Tennessee Titans shorthanded.
Very shorthanded.

We already knew that outside linebacker Von Miller would be out for a good long while. That one really stung.
The Broncos will also be without star wide receiver Courtland Sutton, who has an AC joint injury as well as rookie second-round receiver K.J. Hamler. Sutton would have been good to go had he been able to do 10 jumping jacks, according to head coach Vic Fangio. Hamler has been dealing with a hamstring injury.
Tim Patrick, rookie Jerry Jeudy, and DaeSean Hamilton will play a lot in this game as Pat Shurmur’s offense has a 3-wide receiver base.
Mark Barron, who was signed by the team following the release of Todd Davis, is also dealing with a hamstring injury that will force him to miss his first game as a Bronco. He missed the last three days of practice.

Tight end Albert Okwuegbunam is dealing with an ankle injury. Despite being a full participant in practice over the last two days, he will be a no-go. This is great news for Jake Butt, who needs to have a productive season in 2020 after only playing in three games for the team in his career.
McTelvin Agim will miss the first opportunity of his career to suit up but according to the team’s injury report, injury is not the reason for his deactivation. Jurrell Casey is going to play a good number of snaps against his former team and will definitely be a fun matchup to pay attention to.
Rookie guard Netane Muti won’t be active, meaning the Broncos will go into this game with eight offensive linemen.
Outside linebacker Bradley Chubb, who missed most of 2019 with a torn ACL, will get the start but potentially on a snap count as he is not fully healthy.
Hopefully the Broncos will come out of this game with no more injuries. There are some pretty big names on this injury report and we do not want to see it grow.
