The Promising Talent

Standing at 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds, Jones made his full-time starting debut at Pitt in 2019 and made the most of his new opportunity. Racking up 11.5 TFLs, four forced fumbles, and 8.5 sacks with a nice blend of athleticism and strength. He’s also an asset in the run game, using his strength to set the edge and locate the ball quickly.

Jones is a bit of an unknown since 2019 was his only season where he started full-time. While he doesn’t showcase the eye-popping numbers or freakish explosiveness that Gregory Rousseau does, the skills he does bring to the table are impressive. He’s one to keep an eye on this season.

There are plenty of other noteworthy players I didn’t mention here, but these four are worth keeping tabs on throughout the season. While no player can replace the irreplaceable Von Miller, the questionable status of Bradley Chubb also warrants a deeper dive into the 2021 EDGE class by Denver’s front office.

Don’t be surprised to see one of these players in orange and blue in 2021.
