Week 3: 2016 @ Cincinnati Bengals

I bet you didn’t expect this, did you?

Although there are a lot of really not-so-great memories involving the Denver Broncos after the 2015 season, one of the most satisfying victories in the post-Peyton Manning era was the Broncos’ week three road win in 2016 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

At this point, the Broncos still had a championship-caliber defense. They were 2-0 heading into this game against the Bengals and hadn’t lost since November 2015.

Siemian put on probably the best performance he ever had as a professional (at least, up to this point), carving up the Bengals to the tune of four touchdown passes.

This game was also perhaps the best game of young Shane Ray’s NFL career, as he sacked Andy Dalton three times in this 29-17 victory for the Denver Broncos, who moved to 3-0 on the season after this win.

Both Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas topped 100 yards receiving as Touchdown Trevor spread the ball around to his receivers nicely.
