This would be another potential player-coach reunion if the Broncos were to sign veteran offensive tackle Kelvin Beachum.

Beachum played four seasons for the Pittsburgh Steelers and was a two-year starter there before signing a free agent contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Things have not worked out great for Beachum outside of Pittsburgh, but perhaps a reunion with offensive line coach Mike Munchak — who coached Beachum in 2014 and 2015 with the Steelers — could help his career get back on track.

Beachum would come to Denver to compete with Garett Bolles for the apparently open left tackle position in 2020. The Broncos could also look into signing a veteran like Jason Peters, but it might be difficult to classify Peters as a ‘bargain’ considering the kind of money he’s going to want to play this season.

Beachum, at the very least, could be a valuable backup tackle for the Broncos, something Elijah Wilkinson has not proven to be up to this point.
