2019 Stats: 12 games played, eight penalties, one sack allowed

As far as giving up sacks, Ron Leary did pretty well in that department. But the two things on the field that are making Broncos Country pessimistic is his untimely penalties and his inability to stay healthy.

Denver brought in Leary from Dallas in hopes that he could be the same player he was during his time in the Lone Star State. But after one solid year, he started to fall apart.

The injuries were a big reason. He missed over half of the 2018 season due to injury. The thought was that he would return stronger than ever. But alas, he missed four games and did not perform well.

Pro Football Focus graded him as a 58.4, which is the lowest that we have seen so far among Broncos offensive linemen. Leary is going to be a cap casualty this season. I firmly believe that the Broncos will cut their losses and save a little of money by releasing Leary.

Such a shame that such a promising player had a fall from grace.
