2019 Stats: 16 games played, zero penalties, one sack allowed

For a player that had a pretty clean stat sheet throughout the entire season, Connor McGovern’s name was not heard from a lot in 2019. Perhaps that is a good thing. And it very well could be if he is only allowing one sack in 16 games.

I am very intrigued to see what they end up doing with McGovern since he is set to be a free agent when the free agency period begins in March. For a player that had a really solid stat line, I would be all in for bringing him back.

But it is John Elway and the front office that make that decision. So, until then, we wait. But I firmly believe that he has done enough to warrant a spot on the offensive line.
