DaeSean Hamilton, WR

2018 snap count: 97 (23.6 percent)

Offensively, the one player who is getting a criminally low number of snaps is rookie wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton.

As much as the Broncos have struggled on third downs and in the red zone, a chain mover like Hamilton could be an asset. He’s one of the players on the Broncos’ roster who excels at getting yards after the catch, and showed exactly what he could do two games ago against the Jets with two big catches and three overall.

As has been typical with this staff in Denver, Hamilton wasn’t used just one week after a semi-breakout game, racking up 18 snaps (11 pass snaps) compared to 32 the week prior.

Hamilton shouldn’t necessarily be taking reps away from Emmanuel Sanders or Courtland Sutton, but as has been noted before, he could be helping keep Demaryius Thomas fresh and give Sanders some reps on the outside, or the Broncos can try going four-wide.

One way or another, Hamilton needs more targets.
