DeMarcus Walker, DL

2018 snap count: 0 (0 percent)

DeMarcus Walker hasn’t played a down for the Denver Broncos this season. It seems he’s been in Vance Joseph’s doghouse since the Broncos drafted him and failed to successfully transition him to an outside linebacker.

Which, by the way, remains one of the greatest indictments against the Vance Joseph regime to date.

Walker is a good interior pass rusher and while that hasn’t been the Broncos’ primary area of weakness, it has been a troublesome area for them over the past few weeks and teams have not had to focus too much on anyone but the edge guys.

Even if it seems like a longshot, it’s possible that Walker — a second-round pick in 2017 — could come in and give the Broncos some productive snaps as a pass rusher from the interior.

Why not at least try it out? The run stuffing crew has been historically bad over the past two weeks. Throw Walker in there and see if something good happens.
