The Arizona Cardinals are going to be starting completely fresh at quarterback this offseason, and Siemian’s greatest value to them might be his age and starting experience as a possible backup option.

Carson Palmer retired, and both Blaine Gabbert and Matt Barkley are unrestricted free agents this year.  The Cardinals don’t even have a head coach yet, so we don’t know how Siemian would fit in with a new coaching staff in Arizona, but on paper, this is a team that is depleted at the quarterback position, and Siemian isn’t going to cost a ton and he brings youth and starting experience.
