Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons are rumored to be interviewing and potentially hiring former Denver Broncos quarterbacks coach Greg Knapp for their quarterbacks coach position, which would make an obvious connection here to Siemian.

Siemian worked with Knapp in Denver for three seasons and I’m guessing Knapp had plenty to do with not only his overall development but I’d bet he had a hand in drafting Siemian as well.

If Knapp is a Siemian advocate, the Falcons could be a good landing spot because they are a team that has 36-year old Matt Schaub on a backup contract worth $5.5 million next year, and only $1.2 million in dead money if they want to release him and use that money elsewhere.

Siemian could work for the Falcons as a spot starter in case Matt Ryan is dinged up, and he’ll also have familiarity with his potential position coach there.
