Bennie Fowler’s recent arm injury opens the door for Jordan Taylor, DeVier Posey and Cody Latimer. Latimer has took full control of the number three spot on the wide receiver position and it appears no one will take it from him. The wide outs on the roster are as deep as it has ever been in team history. Both Latimer and Demaryius are expected to have huge roles this year in the offense.

Latimer broke Kevin Reaser’s ankles in practice faking him outside, and then went inside. The Broncos drafted him in 2014 in the second round as the possible second option to Demaryius Thomas, but to his not understanding the playbook, he took a backseat that year. Latimer saw his production rise late in the season last year with Brock Osweiler, which made sense given the amount reps both had in practice.

Now, Latimer appears to be focused and driven to be on a mission. He is a big presence at the position, but just has to harness it. If Latimer reaches that potential, there could be an argument for the Broncos having the deepest corps of wide receivers in the entire league. Taylor again, nearly had a spectacular catch in camp. This time with another team’s corner bearing down on him.
