Broncos struggled in day 17 of Training Camp forcing Gary Kubiak to take some throat lozenges. Kubiak yelled at the offense all throughout the day, but particularly, Paxton Lynch. Lynch saw number one offense for the first time in awhile. Lynch did not perform the way Kubiak was hoping to see.

Lynch’s rapport with the first-team offense, hopefully will continue to increase, but today’s result was lack of reps with the ones. A bad snap and batted ball by Jared Crick proved costly for Lynch causing the young gunslinger to no longer take first-team reps in day 17 of Training Camp. It is vital for the Broncos to bring Lynch slowly in the offense; however, the quarterback must show improvement in practice for the reps to grow.

This is not the first time Kubiak has been disgusted with the offense. Early last week, the head coach expressed his displeasure with Mark Sanchez for not exiting out of the huddle quicker. Both instances can get better over time, but Sanchez’s incident is inexcusable. For Lynch, his confidence will continue to grow with more repetitions on the number one offense.

Kubiak may need to get a lifetime supply of throat lozenges if this continues with the offense and more in particular, the quarterbacks.
