Adam Gotsis dawned a full brace in camp for day 17. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket is recovering from a knee injury he sustained on the first play of game against Florida State. At that time, Gotsis was a projected top-150 prospect according to NFL Media Analyst, Chad Reuter.

Gotsis has a terrific motor that plays the same as fellow Broncos defensive linemen Derek Wolfe. It will not be long for Gotsis to make an immediate impact on the defense, as he has moved well considering his knee injury in 2015. The Aussie has only played American football for three years, but Gotsis showed incredible smarts to learn quickly the game. Bill Kollar, himself, has been glowing praise of the Yellow Jacket defensive linemen begging the Broncos to draft him.

After the loss to Malik Jackson, the Broncos now have three players who instill the same traits as Jackson. Derek Wolfe and Jackson, both have similar traits. This is why Wolfe will assume Jackson’s original spot on the defense, but it is the sigining of Jared Crick and draft of Gotsis that has people buzzing over his talent.

On July 26th, Gotsis said his knee felt great, which is great to hear as he appears to healing well for the Broncos.

“It feels good. I was out there running around a little bit and was here all off-season, so it feels the best it’s felt. I just keep doing what they are telling me to do and take it day by day,” Gotsis on the health of his knee.
