Despite what you may be hearing, Sanchez is not running away with the position in Training Camp. This will be the ultimate identifier for Sanchez who had a good camp today despite it being the lightest of Training Camp. Sanchez must pull away from the rest of the group by not turning the ball, fumbling snaps or mental gaffes in meaningful games. He is capable with the targets Broncos have on offense.

Trevor Siemian remains the great story of camp. The seventh-round pick out of Northwestern has been Mr. Steady in Training Camp. Siemian seems to have gained the respect of his teammates more and more with each practice. This offseason, Rod Smith was on record with 104.3 The Fan stating coaches and wide receivers love the ball he throws in camp. However, Siemian needs to have better numbers than last preseason. His completion percentage was an abysmal 49%, yet some felt he outplayed Brock Osweiler. Siemian will get his chance to impress in the second quarter.

The future of the quarterback situation is Paxton Lynch even though Siemian may have alternate plans. Lynch has all the tools to be a future star at the position due to his arm strength, his height and fits the offense Gary Kubiak would like to run more than the others.

For Lynch to quickly move up the ranks in the Broncos depth chart, it is game one where he will prove why the coaches drafted. He is a rookie and has had his moments in camp; however, in my opinion, Lynch will steadily move up the ranks and see his production continue to rise. He made a Kubiak masterpiece in camp today on a rollout deep pass to Durron Neal that could not have been place any better.
