Special Teams

1st String: Brandon McManus (K), Britton Colquitt (P), Casey Kreiter (LS)

2nd String: Riley Dixon (P), John Theus (LS)

There’s little question about what Brandon McManus can do now, one season after he was borderline worthy of a spot in the NFL.

The 2014 season couldn’t have gone worse for McManus, who drifted between the Broncos’ active roster and practice squad. He changed his mechanics some and in 2015, he showed he’s developed into one of the best kickers in the NFL.

Britton Colquitt is a veteran who had a strong postseason, but an abysmal regular season. The Broncos hand selected a potential replacement in the draft in Riley Dixon out of Syracuse.

Casey Kreiter and John Theus will compete for long snapper duties after the Broncos let go of Aaron Brewer, reportedly for behavioral reasons.
