Feb 7, 2016; Santa Clara, CA, USA; Denver Broncos strong safety T.J. Ward (43) celebrates a sack of Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton (1) in first quarter action in Super Bowl 50 at Levi /

Safety

1st String: T.J. Ward, Darian Stewart

2nd String: Shiloh Keo, Justin Simmons

Two former free agent additions lead the way here in T.J. Ward and Darian Stewart. Both guys are hard hitters, which leads to some worry about their ability to stay healthy over the course of the season, but they bring a ton of versatility to Wade Phillips’ defense.

Behind Ward and Stewart will be Shiloh Keo and Justin Simmons in my opinion, Keo getting the nod over sixth round pick Will Parks just for the time being. The Broncos need to see what they have on the field in Parks before thrusting him into the second-team defense.

Simmons was drafted in the third round, and should play a significant role on the defense this season.
