6. Emmanuel Sanders

The emotional heart and soul of the Denver Broncos is Emmanuel Sanders, in my opinion. He embodies everything it means to be a Bronco, from playing with heart and toughness to his exemplary character on and off the field.

Sanders has always been a big play threat, and he was phenomenal in his first two seasons in Denver. Now that Peyton Manning and a host of other veteran players have departed, Sanders could assume the role of offensive captain.

One of the most respected players on this roster, Sanders’ impact is felt every time he’s on the field, whether he’s stretching the defense deep or playing from the slot and making tough catches over the middle.

As he plays out the final year of his contract, there’s no doubt in my mind that Sanders has proven his worth after signing what was a very modest deal just a couple of years ago. He’s in line to make a lot of money, and he’s earned a new pay day from the Broncos.
