Yes, I know this is a Broncos blog, and I am clearly a Broncos fan, but I will stick true to these words:  If you win the Super Bowl, you will be number one in the rankings throughout the offseason, and will open the week one power rankings at number one.  The offseason probably hasn’t gone according to the exact play for John Elway and company, but that is not to say it has been the disaster that the national media makes it out to be.  The Broncos kept one of the greatest defenses of all time mostly in tact, returning 9 of 11 starters, and also managed to retool one of the worst offensive lines in all of football, and should be far better in 2016.  The questions this team will have to answer:  Will the Broncos be as great in close games in 2016 as they were in 2015?  Also, who will be playing quarterback in week one, and more importantly, in week 17?  If the Broncos can win the close games, and the quarterback play can be as good, or slightly better than it was in 2015, then they can not only hold on to the number one spot, but also will have a very legitimate chance to repeat as champions.
