Conclusion:

Maybe Brock Osweiler is the answer at quarterback, maybe he’s not.

In any case, there’s no denying the talent that currently sits in the Big Ten Conference.

There were strong rumblings that the Broncos were going to pick a quarterback fairly high in the draft, and that’s not because they want to make their seasoned backup earn the job through stiffer competition.

The belief in Osweiler is not all that strong, regardless of what John Elway or Gary Kubiak may otherwise do or say. After trading up for edge-rusher Shane Ray, it’s entirely possible that Elway again moves up in the draft to pursue one of the several signal-callers listed here.

Could the Broncos find their future at quarterback in the Midwest? We’ll have to wait and see.
