The Denver Broncos were able to beat the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7, moving to 5-2 on the year and now extending their win streak to three games. The team has two more games left before the bye in Week 10, one at home against the Kansas City Chiefs, and one away at the Carolina Panthers.

Denver should at least be able to get to the bye 6-3, but this team has beaten the Chiefs at home three years in a row now, so Week 8 is winnable, and the Broncos wouldn't have much of a shot to win that game if they didn't have a franchise quarterback..

Fortunately, they do have one, and his name is Bo Nix, and head coach Sean Payton actually went on a bit of a run after the game in talking with the media about the team's faith in Nix.

The Denver Broncos have never lost faith in Bo Nix, and he is 'their guy'

Here is the full quote:

"The confidence inside the building relative to his abilities hadn't changed at all... sometimes you're answering questions about whether or not... there's not one time where we were... he's our guy, and it was good to see him play well..."

In typical Payton fashion, he kind of stops himself in the middle of a sentence multiple times and opens up a new thought, but the idea is here - the Broncos have not lost faith in Nix - he is the guy for this football team.

is he perfect? Heck no!

But no franchise QB in this league in perfect, and we can find multiple flaws in the very best playes at the position in this league. Nix has done nothing but win since he entered the NFL, and through seven games this year, he and the Broncos are on pace for their third 10+ win season in as many years, and it's so the point now where we, as fans, would be shocked if this team did not make the playoffs.

All of this 'stuff' began when Nix entered the mix back in 2024. Sure, the first seven games of the season have not been great in terms of looking at Nix's numbers, but he is a franchise QB and is someone who has helped instill a new culture of winning that the Broncos just did not have previously.

Nix and the Broncos are an ideal match, and it really seems like every single person inside that building is bought in.
