207th Overall Pick - George Holani, RB, Boise State
I expect the Denver Broncos to take a running back at some point during the 2024 NFL Draft, but I'm not sure it's a position that they need to take until later on. The trio of RBs that Denver has is a fine unit that could all take a step forward being in the second year playing in Sean Payton's offense, but heck, Samaje Perine could be cut for cap savings.
249th Overall Pick (via DET) - Austin Reed, QB, Western Kentucky
You can never take too many chances on a QB, and you just never know if someone like Austin Reed could turn into the next Brock Purdy. Heck, Tony Romo went undrafted, and Sean Payton was a huge part in his development back when he was with the Dallas Cowboys. There is genuinely no harm in taking two QBs during the 2024 NFL Draft.
2025 BUF 2nd
2025 MIN 2nd
All of the trading down that the Denver Broncos did was able to net them two second-round picks for the 2025 NFL Draft, so if this were to happen, Denver would pick three times in the second round, which could be insane value. With Denver giving up a ton of capital for the Russell Wilson and Sean Payton trades, recouping some capital for 2025 could be a wise idea for the front office to try and enact.
