5. Chris Braswell, EDGE, Alabama

Chris Braswell is an EDGE rusher from Alabama who could bring exactly what the Denver Broncos need in that room. Their young trio of pass rushers in Baron Browning, Nik Bonitto, and Jonathon Cooper is fine, but lacks a true game-wrecker. He's truly a complete player; he's got speed, power, and athleticism. And folks, the one thing you cannot teach these prospects is pure athleticism.

The Denver Broncos should look to draft exceptional athletes, as the NFL's best players are most notably the best pure athletes at their respective positions. Sure, there are way more fits for the Denver Broncos on Day 2, and they could go a number of ways since they got their QB at pick 12.

Other players that the Broncos could target include Texas WR Adonai Mitchell, Florida State WR Keon Coleman, Texas TE Ja'Tavion Sanders, Washington EDGE Bralen Trice, Michigan WR Roman Wilson, among many others. Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft will see rounds two and three come off the board.

The Denver Broncos have the 76th pick, but could turn that into a second-rounder if they really wanted a prospect.
