There are obviously a ton of different possibilities for the Denver Broncos as the 2025 NFL Playoffs continue. Heading into Monday Night Football, the Divisional Round in the AFC still is not set in stone yet, but one of the Houston Texans or Pittsburgh Steelers will be in New England to face the Patriots in the next round.
With the Patriots taking down the LA Chargers and the Buffalo Bills beating the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Broncos host the Bills in Round 2 of the NFL playoffs. With a win over Buffalo, the Broncos will stay home for the AFC Championship Game.
While there is a lot that can happen and change, let's quickly cover every possible remaining opponent for the Denver Broncos.
Here is every possible remaining playoff scenario/opponent for the Denver Broncos
Divisional Round - Buffalo Bills
As we've known for a little bit, the Denver Broncos will host the Buffalo Bills, and it's now the second year in a row that Denver sees Buffalo. In the Wild Card Round last year, the Bills hosted the Broncos.
AFC Championship Game - Houston/Pittsburgh, New England Patriots
With a win over Buffalo, the Broncos would host one of Houston, Pittsburgh, or New England in the conference championship game. Houston and Pittsburgh have a showdown on Monday Night Football, and the winner of that game faces the Patriots.
You get the sense that the Patriots would be the favorites, but I do believe the Texans could go into New England and get that victory. However, beating the Steelers in Pittsburgh is a massive challenge, even with the Steelers not being that great.
Super Bowl LX - LA/Chicago/Seattle/San Francisco
And if Denver made it to Super Bowl LX, they would face one of Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, or San Francisco. The two best teams here are the Rams and Seahawks, so that should end up being the NFC Championship Game.
But both Chicago and San Francisco have a 'never out of it' element that could tilt the game in their favor. If I was a betting man, the LA Rams would visit the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game.
And it would not shock me if the New England Patriots came to Denver to face the Broncos for the AFC title game. This could set up a rematch of Super Bowl 48, where the Denver Broncos got blown out by the Legion of Boom Seattle Seahawks.
