The Denver Broncos are playing in another must-win game at home in week seven against the New York Jets, who are a surprising 4-2.  The Broncos are suffering badly at 2-4.  They are on life support after three straight losses and desperately need a win.  They have turned into a national laughing stock across the NFL.

On the other side is the New York Jets who are a surprising 4-2 and have already hit their win total from last year.  Robert Saleh has his team playing hard and the offense appears to be trending up.   Zach Wilson still doesn’t look like a franchise quarterback but has his moments like every young player.  Their defense is tough, especially along the front seven, which is going to be a hard test for Lloyd Cushenberry, Dalton Risner, and Quinn Meinerz.

What do Las Vegas odds say about the Broncos’ chances, and what can we predict will happen in this game?

Las Vegas odds for Denver Broncos in week seven

The Broncos’ home-field advantage is one of the best ones in the NFL, and perhaps the only advantage the team has this season.  They also did shut out the Jets last season at home, but New York is a much better team this year.

According to FanDuel, the Broncos are favored by one point in this game.  Placing $10 on the Broncos to cover that spread would win you $8.77.  If you’d rather opt to bet the money line, a $10 bet would win you $8.47.

Denver is favored in this game, but not by much at all.  In fact, this is an even game across the board.  Vegas does not think that many points will be scored in this one, as they have the over/under point total at 38.5, which is very low. I think the point total may actually fall on the under for this game.  I think we’ll see yet another low-scoring affair.

Predictions for Broncos vs. Jets in week seven

As much as I love the Denver Broncos and want them to win, they have given me no indication that they can win a game against a good team, or, to be honest, win a game.  Their two wins have been pathetic, to say the least, on the offensive side of the ball.

What makes the Broncos even more frustrating is that most kind of already know how this game is going to go.  The defense is likely going to play their tails off, and the offense is probably going to struggle but will have a few large chunk plays.

Prediction: Jets 17, Broncos 16
