We break down every aspect of Sunday’s Week 2 matchup between the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans, where both teams look for their first win.

After a disappointing season opener against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football, where the Seahawks stunned their former quarterback and his new team on their home field in Seattle, the Denver Broncos suddenly are in a must-win situation in Week 2 as they take on the Houston Texans.

It is not so much that the Broncos lost in week one that puts so much pressure on the team to take care of business against the Texans in Week 2 — it is how they played in week one that may raise some concerns that the Broncos are suffering from some expected growing pains right now. However, with the Broncos a much more talented program than the Texans, they will need to shake off those pains and get a hot start in their home opener.

In the matter of potential playoff scenarios down the road, a loss to the Texans would be hard to overcome, especially if it came down to tiebreakers. Enough with playoff talk when we are just coming up to the Broncos home opener–let’s preview the game.
