Denver Broncos undrafted rookie Christopher Allen, who started off training camp on the Non-Football Injury list, has been cleared for practice.
The Denver Broncos have a tremendous group of young pass rushers with some players emerging already at 2022 training camp.
Along Bradley Chubb healthy and looking good this offseason, the Broncos have a fascinating group of players off the edge, even with veteran Randy Gregory working his surgically repaired shoulder back to full strength.

- Baron Browning

- Jonathon Cooper
- Aaron Patrick
It’s a deep group and a group the Denver Broncos will hopefully be able to keep mostly intact as the regular season gets closer.
One player who hasn’t had the chance to get out there and show what he can do at training camp just yet? Rookie Christopher Allen.
Allen suffered an injury early last season at Alabama and has been recovering from that injury, even since he got to the Denver Broncos.
According to those in attendance at practice, Allen has passed a physical and is cleared to return to the field.
Rookie OLB Christopher Allen is officially off the Non-Football Injury list.

He’s out at practice today.
Allen simply adds to the apparent embarrassment of riches the Denver Broncos currently have coming off the edge.
Not everyone sees it that way, because many of these players have yet to prove themselves in actual regular season game action, but on paper, this unit looks really good.
The Broncos have players that can win with speed, power, quickness, length, and just about every way in between.
Allen led the SEC in tackles for loss back in 2020, not a small accomplishment given the talent that comes out of that conference every year.
His arrival to Broncos camp represents the arrival of the team’s most coveted undrafted rookie in 2022. The Broncos gave Allen a higher contract guarantee than any other undrafted player in franchise history at $180,000.
As a matter of fact, that guarantee was higher than Broncos draft picks Matt Henningsen and Faion Hicks, sixth and seventh-round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft.

5 Denver Broncos players showing breakout signs early at training camp
The Denver Broncos just started training camp, but some young players are showing signs of breaking out very early on. Who is standing out?
He’s at a loaded position group at least in terms of players with higher salaries or draft status, but Allen’s journey to making an impact on the Denver Broncos roster begins on Friday as he takes the field for his first NFL training camp practice.
