Denver Broncos player no. 2: Greg Dulcich, TE

One player the Denver Broncos don’t need to be rushing back to action?

Rookie tight end Greg Dulcich.

Dulcich was the talk of OTAs early on and generated a ton of hype not only from the media watching practices, but from the coaching staff and QB1 Russell Wilson.

Then, everyone got to see what the Denver Broncos really thought of Dulcich in the Behind the Broncos series on YouTube where head coach Nathaniel Hackett was basically gushing over him and the draft room was more excited to get him than seemingly any other prospect covered in the show.

More than just a good head of hair, it’s possible that Dulcich could end up being the TE1 for the Denver Broncos at some point.

If Dulcich could be the team’s top tight end this year, then rushing him back to the practice field would be about as foolish as it gets.

The Broncos need Dulcich healthy.

Unfortunately, his white-hot start to OTAs came to a screeching halt with an injury that had him working off to the side as opposed to being out there with the rest of the team.

Also notable?

Dulcich was not out there at Russell Wilson’s San Diego compound getting in work this week.

All of these factors are fascinating and Dulcich undoubtedly needs to be treated with the utmost caution as training camp approaches.

The Broncos need him healthy for the regular season.
