No. 1 receiver who could torment the Denver Broncos: Davante Adams, Las Vegas Raiders.

Fortunately, the Broncos don’t have to deal with Tyreek Hill catching passes from Patrick Mahomes ever again.

Unfortunately, they have another problem coming to the division.

The Green Bay Packers traded Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders this offseason. Adams has been consistently one of the best if not the best wide receiver in the entire league.

Adams and Raiders quarterback Derek Carr played alongside each other for a year at Fresno State in 2013. Adams had 131 receptions for 1,719 yards and — checks notes — 24 receiving touchdowns that year.

I do not expect there to be many miscommunications between Carr and Adams, especially with training camp and three regular season games between now and when the Broncos head to Las Vegas.

Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett spent time with Adams in Green Bay which could be a good thing in the end for the Broncos. He might have some things drawn up to stop Adams from going off in the two matchups that will happen between the two teams.

However, if I had to guess, you can’t really do a ton to stop Adams. If the quarterback play is on point, Adams is going to have a good or great game. That’s just how it might be.
