The Denver Broncos will have the eyes of the NFL world on at least one of their games this coming season.

The full 2022 NFL schedule is set to be released next Thursday and there are some things we already know for the Broncos this coming year. We already know the opponents that the team will be facing and we already know that the team will travel overseas to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

That game will take place on October 30 in Week 8 from Wembley Stadium.

Broncos vs. Seahawks comes in at No. 2 on recent list

But the Broncos will also play in one of the best games of the 2022 season, at least according to this list of the top 10 games of 2022 by Nick Shook of NFL.com.

That would be the game in which the Broncos go on the road to face the Seattle Seahawks. That game came in all the way up at No. 2 on this list. The only game that outranked it will be the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills, which makes sense at it pits two of the league’s best quarterbacks against each other in a rematch of one of the best games in NFL history from last season’s playoffs.

There are numerous storylines in a game between Denver and Seattle, but tops on the list will be Russell Wilson returning to the place he called home for 10 years. How will the crowd react to having him back?

There will also be the underlying stories of Drew Lock, Noah Fant and Shelby Harris going against the old team.

But aside from that, the Broncos and Seahawks have a storied rivalry, one that dates back to the old AFC West days in which the Seahawks were a part of the division. Of course, the teams clashed in 2013 for Super Bowl XLVIII in which Wilson helped the Seahawks throttle the Broncos, 43-8.

This will be a marquee matchup on the schedule and one that the league could even choose to put into a primetime television slot.

When the schedule is released in one week, this will be one of the more interesting games to circle on the calendar.
